Share Your Wedding

You really can share your wedding with those that are close to you because people really do want to help. Your friends and family will help you take care of the small details your bridesmaids might miss.

There are thousands of untold stories of family members who went to pick up ice or to purchase a table cloth because of a major spill; or pick someone up because their car broke down. Share your wedding needs and volunteers usually come out of the woodwork. We didn’t plan to have anyone pitch in to help us out with our wedding. Our friends were just willing to participate in any way they could.

Our wedding photos were a gift from a friend. Wedding Photos were in our budget but after the ceremony, we discovered our photos were a gift from a friend and there was no need to pay. I was all set to pay but was told to put the wallet away. I didn’t fight it. I graciously said thank you and moved on.

Our wedding video was shot by friends who wanted to donate their time and talents as well. The images that needed to be captured were and we can pop the wedding video in anytime. Do everything you can to get a video of your wedding. It will become a treasure in the years to come.

I’m sure you’re aware of other ways to get more photos of the wedding like putting disposable cameras on each table for your guests to use. Make sure you remember to collect them at the end of the ceremony You can usually find amazing deals on disposable cameras. You can even have the cameras personalized to fit the theme of your wedding.

The wedding gown was designed by my wife. She saw a picture in a magazine and made her own design from that. The dress evolved from a picture in a magazine. How cool is that? The seamstress that put the dress together also sang in the wedding. She’s multi talented.

We found the material after looking around for while. Eventually we found the right amount to make the dress without running out of material. I don’t remember the exact cost for the dress but It was in the range of 5 to 6 hundred dollars. It was beautiful no doubt.

The bridesmaids and a few friends pitched in to decorate the church. One of those friends knew the owner of a flower shop and she gave us a great deal. One way to save on flowers is to visit your local flower district. The flowers usually come in fresh every week and you can get great discounts if you buy them in bulk. Don’t forget to get a corsage for the mother and father of the bride and other wedding party members as well.

In conclusion, sharing your wedding with family and friends is a good thing. They’re waiting in the wings to help out anyway they can. Once you get the word out that you need help your family and friends will surely come to your aid. Happy Wedding!
